The Creator Draft: Are Gambling Streamers the New Pro Athletes?

Steve Will Do It to Gamdom, Togi to Shuffle, TJR to Stake: three big-name moves in two months. Our view: the gambling-creator market is starting to look a lot like pro sports.

Here's our take: gambling streaming is turning into a sports league. The creators are the star players. The casinos are the teams. And this fall has played out like an offseason.

Look at how it went. There was free agency: Steve and Togi both left Roobet, and TJR left Shuffle. There was a bidding war. Togi says Roobet and Gamdom each offered him "the exact same deal" as Shuffle. There was a huge contract number. Steve says he makes "3.2m a month" from Gamdom plus "30% rev share." That's his claim, and Gamdom hasn't confirmed it. And the signings were announced the way teams announce them, with "officially signed" posts and welcome replies from the casinos' accounts.

The rest of the league is Stake, Shuffle, Gamdom, Roobet and the other big crypto casinos, all competing for the same small pool of creators who can move an audience. Here's how each signing went down.

Steve Will Do It → Gamdom: the big contract

Steve (@stevewilldoit) was Roobet's best-known face for years. On Aug 2 he posted that he had "no affiliation with Roobet anymore." Eleven days later he went live on Kick as "STEVE X @gamdom," promising "$400,000 given away in next 4 days on stream."

He's one of the few creators who has posted his numbers. On Sept 19 he wrote that he makes "3.2m a month from @gamdom" plus "30% rev share of code Steve." That figure comes from Steve himself. Gamdom hasn't confirmed it.

Roobet owner Allen (@AllenAeroh) gave his own version of the split. FairGambling summarized it: Steve wanted a raise Roobet wouldn't give, and Allen called Steve's hints about a "why I left Roobet" video "blackmail."

The bets have been huge. On Oct 12 he posted: "I GOT $1,000,000 ON BILLS." Days earlier he said he was putting $700,000 on the Dallas game. That same Oct 12 he also tried to clear his giveaway debts: "If I owed money for a giveaway, it's Bein done today!!" The post tagged the #100kgamdomchallenge, added "an extra $3,000," and drew almost 2,000 replies.

Then there's Bob Menery (@realbobmenery). Steve says Menery "introduced me to gamdom." He has also called him "a menace to society" and joked about turning into Bob if he ever drank. This week Menery posted that his account was hacked and he lost "$30,999" on Gamdom, and that "Gamdom did nothing." Separately, a Gamdom team member posted that the site went offline after a hot-wallet breach that cost "just over $3m."

Togi → Shuffle: the bidding war

Togi (@ShaneStoffer) made Shuffle official on Sept 25: "I'm standing on @shufflecom hard." He also explained why: "Roobet, a long time partner offered the exact deal as shuffle. Gamdom, the team my best friend Stevewilldoit is on offered me the exact same deal."

He's been loud about it ever since. On Oct 10 he posted that Shuffle had "single handedly rid the internet of significant video pollution." Shuffle's account replied "the internet is healing," and that post passed 57,000 likes. Before that he wrote: "My goal is to win half of shuffle then retire. They will go down as signing the worst deal in history."

Neither side has disclosed the terms. Read our earlier coverage: Togi picks Shuffle.

TJR → Stake: the "officially signed" moment

TJR (@_TJRTrades) built his name on trading content. On Oct 1 he posted "Officially signed with the biggest in the game @Stake." The post passed 3.5 million views, and Stake replied "Welcome to the biggest in the game."

So yes, Stake picked up a Shuffle creator while Shuffle picked up Togi. As recently as Aug 25, TJR called Shuffle "my gambling deal sponsor... which I still currently have a deal with." He went live on Kick the same day he announced, under the stream title "OFFICIALLY SIGNED WITH STAKE! FIRST GAMBLING SESSION NOW." Stake streams followed on Oct 6, according to the tracker Gamstat.

Terms weren't disclosed. Not every fan post was organic, either: many near-identical "TJR x Stake" posts circulated on X afterward.

Who won the offseason?

Three free agents, three new teams, and only one contract figure made public, by the player himself. Like any front office, each casino is betting that its signing's audience will follow him to a new site.
